The Raincoast Conservation
Society is dedicated to the study and protection
of Western Canada’s rapidly disappearing coastal forests and wildlife.

The Orcas Island Chamber
of Commerce Web site is a great place to find out about the many activities
available on Orcas Island, our home base.
The Deer Harbor Marina is our home base moorage on
Orcas Island.
Located on Orcas Island,
Shearwater Adventures is the most experienced kayak outfitter in the islands.
They offer a range of guided tours from 1/2-day to multi-day, beginning to
advanced instruction, as well as kayak & gear sales.
The Resort at Deer Harbor
is located just across from the Deer Harbor Marina on Orcas Island. The resort
is the ideal getaway for outdoor enthusiasts and vacationers with all interests,
and is just a short walk from where our boat is moored on Orcas Island.
Located at the ferry landing on Orcas Island, the Orcas Hotel Bed and Breakfast
has been welcoming guests since 1904.
Located right on the water and facing due west, West Beach Resort on Orcas
Island has one and two bedroom beachfront and oceanview cottages that are
fully equipped with queen size beds, full housekeeping kitchen, woodstove
with glass door, beach fire pit, bathroom, BBQ and deck furniture, electric
heat, bedding, towels and dishware.
Based on Orcas Island, Washington, Body Boat Blade International is owned
and operated by three of the most qualified, dedicated, and passionate instructors
in the Pacific Northwest. They specialize in high quality instruction for
paddlers at any skill level. Certified instructors are committed to upholding
the highest standards of coaching, leadership, and judgment in every program
that they offer.
Denny Island's only waterfront bed and breakfast accommodation for 4 to 6
guests. A non smoking environment, with lunch and dinner available on request.
With private dock with power and water, also suitable for float plane. Fishing
charters and sightseeing can be arranged.
Kenmore Air Seaplanes—
Flying to Emerald Isle Sailing Charters from Seattle is fast, fun and extraordinarily
scenic by seaplane. Kenmore offers several scheduled flights to our home base
in Deer Harbor as well as several harbors we visit in the San Juans and British
Columbia's Inside Passage.
